Tillery Valley Foods develops, produces and distributes chilled and frozen meals to the healthcare and public sector markets throughout the UK. We are situated on the Cwmtillery Industrial Estate and the existing production facility has the capacity to produce 430,000 meals of the very highest quality, each week.

The company was established in 1984 with half a dozen employees and now employs 470 people, most of whom live in Blaenau Gwent. In 1996, the company was acquired by Sodexho, one of the world's largest catering and support service providers, and it has grown steadily over the last 5 years.

As a consequence of this business success, together with the backing of our parent company, Tillery Valley Foods is now in the process of doubling its production facility, with the new site coming on stream in the very near future. The decision to expand the existing site was significantly influenced by the quality of our employees who are given every opportunity to train and develop into more senior positions and we are currently recruiting to fill new jobs.
